ISA-certified tree removal, trimming, and 24/7 emergency care for Brookhaven's mature DeKalb canopy — from the crew just up the road in Sandy Springs.
Brookhaven sits just southeast of our Sandy Springs home base, an easy trip down Peachtree Road or Ashford-Dunwoody Road, so we're one of the closest professional tree crews you can call. One of DeKalb County's newer cities, Brookhaven is prized for its leafy, established neighborhoods — the streets around Murphey Candler Park and the older sections off Peachtree Road are canopied by decades-old oaks, tulip poplars, sweetgums, and towering loblolly pines. That mature canopy is what gives Brookhaven its character, and it's exactly what makes professional tree care so important here.
Hank's Tree Pros brings ISA-certified, fully licensed and insured tree service to every corner of Brookhaven. We carry workers' compensation on our crew, work carefully on established lots, and clean up completely. Whether you need a hazardous pine taken down or a heritage oak pruned, we do it safely and leave your yard better than we found it.
The tall loblolly pines that shade Brookhaven's neighborhoods are beautiful but vulnerable — they catch wind like sails and can snap or uproot in Georgia's summer thunderstorms and straight-line winds, and pine bark beetles can kill a stressed pine quickly. The area's mature water oaks are another common concern: they grow fast, decay from the inside, and drop limbs with little warning. Saturated red-clay soil after heavy rain adds to the risk by loosening root plates. Our certified arborists can spot trouble early and tell you honestly whether a tree needs treatment, cabling and bracing, pruning, or removal. When a storm does hit, our emergency crews are only minutes away.
Like its neighbors, Brookhaven protects its canopy with a local tree-protection ordinance, and the rules for removing healthy protected trees differ from those in Sandy Springs or Atlanta. We help you navigate Brookhaven's requirements — and if your tree is dead or hazardous, we document it properly. Learn how permits work across the metro in our metro-Atlanta permit guide.
Along with Brookhaven, we care for trees in neighboring Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Buckhead. Not sure if we reach you? Check our full list of service areas or just give us a call.
